Keep every customer conversation connected to the work without leaving the platform. This walkthrough covers how to use Sourcing Window's messaging feature to respond to customers, share photos, and stay in real-time communication from the first quote all the way through shipment.

In this video, we'll walk you through the messaging feature so you can easily communicate with your customers right from the platform. On the left hand side of your screen, you'll find the "Messages" tab in the sidebar. This is where you can view all your conversations in one place, making it easy to stay organized, and keep track of communication with your customers.
 
You can also quickly search for specific messages using a reference number, customer name, or even a key phrase.  Click into any message to respond directly to your customer. Send pictures or ask for additional details like the model of the system. The part is needed for when a customer replies, you'll receive an email notification along with a red alert indicator on your messages icon. 
 
These updates happen in real time, so there's no delay in communication. Messaging also isn't just limited to the sidebar. You can connect with your customers at any point through the process from following up on a quote to communicating once your part has shipped,  and that's how messaging helps you.
